Edcite Now Integrates with Microsoft SSO

With over 135 million Office 365 users, a huge number of businesses, nonprofits and other organizations are using Microsoft tools. Schools and districts want to prepare their students for the tools they will use in the workforce, so more and more schools are adopting Office 365 and Teams. In September 2017, it was reported that 125,000 organizations were using Microsoft Teams. By March 2018, that grew to 200,000, and in September 2018, there were close to 330,000 organizations using Teams.

Increasing Students’ Vocabulary: Word Study in Action

Do you remember studying for the ACT or GRE? Did you buy the vocabulary flashcards or make your own? I remember the summer of 2009 as “The One With the GRE Flashcards” because I took them everywhere and reviewed them in every spare moment. Whether it was by the pool, in the DMV, at the doctor’s office, or at my kitchen table, my anxiety about memorizing the vocabulary words continued to increase. I remember wishing I had received better vocabulary instruction in school. The reality is, in many places, we still aren’t YET teaching vocabulary, or word study, well. The key word here is: YET.

Edcite Schools Integrates with Canvas

Canvas and Edcite share a philosophy: we want to give educators powerful tools to create better futures for their students. At Edcite, we have seen a lot of growth in K12 for Canvas because, as schools and districts are moving toward more online curriculum, they now need the LMS capabilities that were once only used by colleges and universities. Canvas is a flexible framework that districts can set up to meet these needs. With K-12 customers in 49 of the 50 states and 4,000 customers overall, Canvas has become the solution for districts across the country.
