1. Have students read the question or passage together on the computer. They can alternate who reads each question or if it is a longer question/passage, they can alternate throughout one question.
2. Individually, students answer Part A on their paper.
3. They then share their responses with one another, decide on a final answer, and then answer Part B (an analysis or explanation level question) together. They alternate who types with each question.

In the most basic form:

1. Have students read the question or passage together on the computer. They can alternate who reads each question or if it is a longer question/passage, they can alternate throughout one question.
2. Students literally switch off answering the questions on the computer.  (e.g., Partner A answers question 1 (all parts), Partner B answers question 2 (all parts, etc.)
