Julia Sweeney began her professional journey as a middle school teacher, inspired by a passion for addressing education inequities, and she currently serves as the Chair of the Governing Board of a network of public Montessori schools in Northern California. Her experiences in education bring an invaluable perspective to her leadership, ensuring that Edcite remains closely connected to the needs and aspirations of schools and districts.

Julia joined Edcite over ten years ago, and in that time, she has become an integral part of the company’s fabric.
