The Seven Independence Days of Hispanic Heritage Month
Students will review geography, identify national flags, watch videos about a celebration in Nicaragua and Mexican Independence Day.
High school students will learn about the important civil rights and political activist and analyze an excerpt from his famous poem “I Am Joaquin.”
Students will identify Latin American countries on a map.
Students will identify parts of a “Day of the Dead” altar.
Students will answer questions focused on the Aztec civilization.
5th Grade ELA Benchmark Assessment
