This lesson really is for the teacher, but is going to be the first thing you address with students if they are looking for an assignment that isn’t there. If you are having students join via a class code, make sure you send the assignment to them after they have joined. If you want to have them do an assignment as soon as they sign up for Edcite, use the Quick Link for your first assignment.
You aren’t able to send an assignment to your students, until they are actually enrolled in your class. This is a situation you only have to think through if it’s your students first time using Edcite and they are joining via the class code. If you have entered your students manually, you can go through and send them their first assignment via the orange “Assign” button before you have them log on for the first time.
