At the end (before anyone submitted), I paused the class once more and walked them through how to read the results page that they would see after submitting their assignment. I focused specifically on three things:
- Viewing their score out of the total possible points.
- If their answer was correct or incorrect on each question that was NOT short answer or essay.
- Comparing their short answer/essay responses with the teacher’s example response in order to get a general idea of how well they answered the question.
Once we went over these three pieces of information, they submitted their assignment and took 5-7 minutes to read over their own results page and ask questions!
