Getting Over the Tech Hump with your Students

At the end (before anyone submitted), I paused the class once more and walked them through how to read the results page that they would see after submitting their assignment. I focused specifically on three things:

  1. Viewing their score out of the total possible points.
  2. If their answer was correct or incorrect on each question that was NOT short answer or essay.
  3. Comparing their short answer/essay responses with the teacher’s example response in order to get a general idea of how well they answered the question.

Once we went over these three pieces of information, they submitted their assignment and took 5-7 minutes to read over their own results page and ask questions!
